Marrakech Interior Design provides professional interior design, decoration, and space planning services for residential and commercial clients. Our services include but are not limited to:

•Design consultation and concept development

•Space planning and layout optimization

•Material and furniture sourcing

•Project management and execution oversight

•Styling and final installation

All services are provided on a project-by-project basis and are subject to individual service agreements.

3. Client Responsibilities

3.1 Information Accuracy

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and truthful information during consultations, including details about your space, budget, timeline, and design preferences. Inaccurate information may affect the quality and timeline of our work.

3.2 Access to Property

You are responsible for ensuring we have safe, legal access to your property during all project phases. You must obtain necessary permissions from landlords, HOAs, or other relevant parties before we begin work.

3.3 Decision-Making Authority

You confirm that you have the authority to make decisions regarding your property and that all necessary parties (co-owners, tenants, etc.) have consented to the project.

3.4 Compliance with Laws

You agree to comply with all local building codes, zoning regulations, and other applicable laws. You are responsible for obtaining necessary permits and approvals.

4. Design Process & Intellectual Property

4.1 Design Ownership

All original design concepts, drawings, renderings, and creative work produced by Marrakech Interior Design remain our intellectual property until final payment is received. Upon full payment, you receive a non-exclusive license to use the design for your personal project only.

4.2 Portfolio Use

You grant us permission to photograph your completed project and use images for our portfolio, website, social media, and marketing materials. We will credit you by name unless you request anonymity.

4.3 Design Modifications

Any modifications to our designs must be approved in writing. Unauthorized changes may void our warranty and affect project quality.

5. Pricing & Payment Terms

5.1 Consultation Fees

Initial consultations are offered free of charge. Detailed design consultations beyond the initial meeting may be charged at our standard hourly rate.

5.2 Project Pricing

All project quotes are provided in writing and are valid for 30 days. Quotes include specific deliverables and scope. Changes to scope will result in additional fees.

5.3 Payment Schedule

Payment terms vary by project and will be outlined in your service agreement. Typical arrangements include:

•50% deposit upon project commencement

•25% upon design approval

•25% upon project completion

5.4 Late Payment

Invoices are due within 30 days of issuance. Late payments may incur a 1.5% monthly interest charge and may result in project suspension.

5.5 Cancellation & Refunds

Cancellation policies are outlined in individual service agreements. Generally:

•Cancellations before design work begins: Full refund of deposit minus 10% administrative fee

•Cancellations during design phase: Deposit is non-refundable; additional fees apply for work completed

•Cancellations during execution phase: All payments are non-refundable

6. Project Timeline & Delays

6.1 Estimated Timelines

Project timelines provided are estimates based on standard conditions. We cannot guarantee specific completion dates due to factors beyond our control.

6.2 Delays

We are not responsible for delays caused by:

•Client indecision or delayed approvals

•Supplier delays or material unavailability

•Weather or natural disasters

•Government actions or permit delays

•Contractor or artisan delays

•Changes to project scope

6.3 Our Responsibility

We commit to communicating promptly about any delays and working diligently to minimize impact on your timeline.

7. Warranties & Limitations

7.1 Design Quality

We warrant that our design work will be performed professionally and in accordance with industry standards. We do not warrant specific outcomes or that you will be completely satisfied with the design.

7.2 Third-Party Work

We do not warrant the work of contractors, artisans, suppliers, or other third parties. Any warranties on installed materials or construction work are provided by those parties, not by Marrakech Interior Design.

7.3 Material Availability

We cannot guarantee the availability of specific materials, furniture, or artisan work. If items become unavailable, we will propose suitable alternatives.

7.4 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Marrakech Interior Design's total liability for any claim arising from these terms or our services shall not exceed the total amount paid for the project.

8. Confidentiality

8.1 Your Privacy

We respect your privacy and will not disclose your personal information without consent, except as required by law. See our Privacy Policy for details.

8.2 Design Confidentiality

You agree not to share our design concepts, renderings, or proprietary design methods with third parties without our written permission.

8.3 Client References

With your permission, we may reference you as a past client or use your project as a case study for marketing purposes.

9. Limitation of Services

9.1 Scope Boundaries

Our services are limited to design, decoration, and project coordination. We do not provide:

•Structural engineering or architecture (unless specifically contracted)

•Legal advice regarding property rights or regulations

•Financial advice regarding project budgeting

•Contractor licensing or insurance verification

9.2 Third-Party Services

We may recommend contractors, artisans, or suppliers, but we do not guarantee their work quality or reliability. You are responsible for verifying their credentials and insurance.

10. Dispute Resolution

10.1 Good Faith Negotiation

In case of disputes, both parties agree to attempt resolution through good faith negotiation within 14 days.

10.2 Mediation

If negotiation fails, disputes may be submitted to mediation before pursuing legal action.

10.3 Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of Morocco. Any legal action must be brought in the courts of Marrakech, Morocco.

11. Cancellation & Termination

11.1 Project Cancellation by Client

You may cancel your project at any time by providing written notice. Cancellation fees apply as outlined in Section 5.5.

11.2 Project Termination by Marrakech Interior Design

We reserve the right to terminate a project if:

•Payment obligations are not met

•You violate these Terms of Use

•The project becomes unsafe or illegal

•You are uncooperative or abusive

In such cases, you remain responsible for all work completed to date.

12. Website Terms

12.1 Website Use

You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe upon the rights of others or restrict their use and enjoyment of the website.
